When residents of South Florida want to celebrate Thanksgiving out instead of at home, many flock to the Restaurant, the main dining room at the Four Seasons Resort, on South Ocean Boulevard. Indeed, the popular buffet has been booked to capacity for the past four years. This year the restaurant, under the watchful eye of executive chef Darryl Moiles, will offer classic holiday fare in three sittings. The menu will include dishes such as turkey roasted in banana leaves, porcini-dusted butterfish, butternut squash à la nage and chocolate-bourbon pecan pie with a maple glaze. A pianist will perform throughout the day in the elegant room, which seats ninety-six. (For a more casual setting, the hotel's tropical Ocean Bistro offers indoor and outdoor dining with stunning views of the pool terrace and the Atlantic Ocean.) Service from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. $95 for adults; $40 for children aged five to twelve; complimentary for children under five. 2800 South Ocean Boulevard; 561-582-2800; fourseasons.com/palmbeach.
