When building the requisite spa at Acqualina, a Rosewood Resort, which recently opened in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, the designers had the good sense to connect with Susan Harmsworth, owner and CEO of ESPA INTERNATIONAL. For this, her first fully branded venture in America, the highly respected English creator of luxury spas took over 20,000 square feet within the hotel for eleven treatment rooms, havens of peace and tranquillity. Guests are encouraged to spend time in the Crystal Steam Room, the Ice Fountains, the Experience Shower (with both Arctic and Caribbean Mists) and the Finnish Sauna, for what is called a heat experience. Then there are the treatments themselves, which pamper you from head to toe, literally.
